Congratulations to the 2022 Praxis Ideation Challenge Winner: Specifix
Congratulations to the winner of the $25,000 grant:
Team Specifix!
On behalf of the Ideation Clinic, Praxis Spinal Cord Institute, our partners, sponsors, and affiliates, we would like to say congratulations to Team Specifix - Jessica Jenkins, Siobhan Wilson, Jaspreet Randhawa and Alex Bak - from the University of Toronto, for their novel intervention, Urostix.
UroStix is an at-home rapid test for urinary tract infections (UTIs). UroStix was created to increase test specificity and overcome the limitations of existing dipstick tests which are uniquely experienced by people with neurogenic bladders. With UroStix, the team aims to give patients a reliable, at-home indicator that they can use to monitor their urinary tract health.
Congratulations, team!
